By looking at the forcast track map, looks as if "she who cannot be named" (nice name haha) will pass directly overr the Upper Herbert catchment. With the river still high, I wonder how much rainfall will fall in that area. Anyone got a clue? Getting windy here in town now, a steady breeze of aboutn 20kph, not much rain tho.

Merry Christmas all, hope it is a safe and enjoyable one for everyone!

The more it intensifies the more its going to affect the weather for the rest of the week.. I can see between now and new years we are going to have a major flood disaster on our hands that will spread over most of Queensland. As Nitso said in his comments that there are going to be Millions of dollars damage. Looks like this is going to be the week of Noah and we should start rounding up 2 of everything.

depends on the number of tails.

eerily reminds me of pre larry. completely still outside, knowing that in a few hours wind will start to pick up.

On another note, at 6 pm the birds didn't flock to the trees in the back yard to roost as they usually do. interesting.
