Hi all

Weatherzone is once again producing a calendar for 2012!

You can see more details about the calendar, including the submission form at the Weather Calendar page

Please note that submissions close on 31 July 2011, so don't waste any time!

The last calendar we produced in 2010 was made up of a majority of forum members' photos, so it would be great to see you all featuring heavily this time around again.

Any questions, don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks

Matt

Hmmm...I just tried the form again and it worked fine!

At what point in the process did you get the error?

Do you remember what you did to trigger the error?

Can others please try the form and let me know whether you also experience any errors?

Also getting error.

"HTTP Status 500 -

I have removed some script but have a print out if required. Thanks. I checked that photo size was all under 1.5 MB each, maybe it should be total as the error looks like a timeout on upload (maybe).

what i found worked instead of click the big picture that says "Enter Now" there is some small text underneath that says.... "To submit photos for consideration, please click here and fill out your details by 31 July 2011"

press the small text one and see if it works that way smile

Thanks Schummy, I have tried that, but to no avail. I have also tried one photo at a time but still comes up with that error message.

We believe this error may be caused by trying to upload a photo that is over the maximum permissible size. I agree that we could probably implement a more graceful error message, and I have spoken to the developer about this.

In the meantime, try sending through smaller images (less than 1.5Mb) and see if that works. If you still have the problems despite this, then just send the photos directly through to calendar@weatherzone.com.au - however, please only do this as a last resort, as if you are successful using this method, then we will need to contact you separately to confirm acceptance of the T&C's...

Thanks Matthew, Still having problems submitting photos they are all under 1.5MB.
I tried submitting just the one photo and it comes up with this error - You haven't selected any photos or the photo is not in JPEG or TIFF format.
Please try again.

All my photo's are JPEG file.
Cheers Eddy

What's the file size Eddy? I think the WZ team only want to be able to see the images, so even 300-500kB would be sufficient. Perhaps make the
images 72dpi, and 800px on the widest side. It should bring the file size down.

I haven't uploaded any myself yet, will do so at some stage.

Hi Greg, most of the file sizes are between 600-900kb.
I will give that a shot later on & try and make the image 800px.
Cheers

OK, I am at a bit of a loss then.
Just send the images directly through to calendar@weatherzone.com.au
