A.In the 1980s riding at night 70kmh zone out of town had 5 cars in front of me pulled out to over take passed the 3 car the had a headlight in my mirror thought a car had pulled out to follow then a second later at about 120kmh a police bike is beside me on the wrong side of the road we look at each other he accelerates i pull back in in front of the cars and wait for the police man to pull me up further up .Nothing happened . Although i used to race the bike a Honda CB900 at the local raceway and the police bikes used to come out and practice and we would get pulled up on the way home lol.Strange thing though a policeman on a police bike was run of the road a week later in the same place and killed .
Q.Best time you got let of by the police .

A. Never. But then again, never did anything wrong that warranted me to get a let off.

Q. Should all road rules and licensing be nationalised under one set of rules for every state?

A.Yes. I was driving (as a NSW P plater) up to brisbane the other day. Had people up my arse all day, as the NSW speed limit for P platers is 90, wheras QLD p platers can drive the speed limit. Surely the state you live in doesn't determine the danger of driving above 90 kph, so why should they have different laws? Same goes for rego, licencing etc.

The P & L plate differences are just ridiculous TBH but I thought they were being normalised now across all States?

And I think it's great.

A. I despise people that are always negative no matter what and "drag you down".

Q. Do fixed speed cameras have any speeding tolerances like police hand-held cameras which are + or - 2km/h?

A. My understanding is that they are exactly the same but operationally they choose not to book below 5 or 7km/h over.

Sure hope you're right Kino! I went past a camera doing about 2km/h over on Monday. I was trying to safely get past a truck that was taking up half my lane (middle lane) so I had to get into a bit of the right hand lane, and sped up a bit so I wasn't inconveniencing the cars in the right lane. Right when I was going the fastest is when I drove over the pads for the camera. Looked at my speedo and it was a tiny bit over 60 (speed camera was 60km/h).

A. Yeah I do. Some people may think that it's just an act or something but I know enough people with it to know that I wouldn't just be faking all the time. I personally do not have it.

Q. Another similar Q: Has anyone heard of people being booked for less than 5km/h over the speed limit? Talking about NSW btw, not Victoria, where people get booked for 2k over or something crazy.

A: never. And if you'd been booked you would have seen the flash, it's pretty clear smile (from what I remember the cameras are set at 7km/h over the limit).

Q: if you could fix one body part what would it be?

A. US should have learned its lesson and stay out of them. Ever since WW2, they have had their butt kicked from pillar to post. But with two boofheads with the same amount of hairspray on their heads, it is amazing they haven't blown up themselves if they are near a naked flame!

A. If you mean video games: Skyrim, gta 5 and Counter Strike sometimes.

Q. Where is your special place? Like a location you went to that make you feel really nice spiritually or something.

Mine is Pierces Pass in the Blue Mtns. The view of 500m high cliffs across the valley for the first time truly took my breath away. The air was so clean as well and the sun was low in sky. I just remember feeling this spiritual inner peace like I'd never felt before in my life.

A. For me generally anywhere in this great land of ours. But I do love the big blue, the big blue ocean. I don't mind being out to sea, no land in sight, its another world out there and I don't mean being on a cruise ship, just your stock standard tinnie!!
I've only been out there a handful of times, but I really enjoy it.

Q. Sticking with computer games (I love GTA 5) do you play online with others?

I didn't realise you were a gamer Eddy!

A. Yeah I mainly play online but usually with random people on gta, as most of my friends have switched over to PC gaming (hence why I play Counter Strike occasionally).

Q. Do you prefer car racing games or first person shooters?

A) I'm sure there's a fairly small number of people who celebrate it here, mostly those who have come from America, American students or those with strong ties to America for whatever reason. We're all more interconnected these days, so maybe over the next decade or two, it might build some momentum (what's not to like about eating a whole heap of food, lol), but it would need a large following to become a public holiday here, and I can't foresee that ever happening.
Now in late November would be an odd time of year to have it too and is probably one thing that would hold it back from gaining a large following, it's so close to Christmas and the long summer holidays, an already expensive time of year. Incorporating it with the winter (July) or spring (October) holidays would be better.

Q) Do you like fruit cake?
