And still the rain falls, or rather drizzle now. But it's persistent and has dropped 10mm last 24 hours. The SE stream has been good in the last week. Week total now a smidge above 110mm. A common winter happening, but not in may, not in the last decade for here anyway.

BOM's colored map showing the rainfall for the week ending Monday 28th May 2012. It speaks volumes. It's a product of the National Climate Centre - my compliments to them - it doubtless has its inaccuracies but it's a lot easier to interpret than studying lists of individual rain guage recordings.
Can't see any place marked over 100mm Hillsrain - you may have topped the state or come close to it smile
