Just ensure you get plenty of sleep over the next few days so your not napping on the side of the road again and miss all the action.

Recording 975hpa is missing the action? Gee whiz the season's must be good in WA these days.

Nahh I was talking about that 30knt thing that was elongated and washed out over the coast when you guys were napping on the side of the road. If that was 975hp then it certainly didnt come across that way with your disappointment shown on your live stream. Any way better luck with this one.

And Access, CMC and NAVGEM.

ACCESS is showing a tropical depression.
GEM is showing a cyclone way offshore.
And NAVGEM yes, but it's the worst of all the models.

So for technical purposes EC and NAVGEM are forecasting it.
But for practical purposes, it's really just EC.

Link may not work - cut and paste into your address bar.
Only public source of EC Precipitation in the world. I prefer the paid ones though.

Not exactly favourable shear conditions on the QLD Coast.

You better ask Willow that mate. He had half his roof gone from that 30 knot washed out thing you mentioned.

Just before you have another light hearted chop though....yup 975hpa at the Dingo Beach turnoff, if you know where that is. I can actually provide the link on YouTube for the recorded reading from the chase if you like.

I like the Windy TV projection - nowhere near the Cassowary Coast... we think its time we shared a decent cyclone with somewhere else on the coast.

Not the best right now, but come Sun, Mon, Tues shear conditions really improve for intensification shear-wise... First screenshot below is EC wind shear on Sunday 2pm AEST.

Link to wundermap: http://wxug.us/242gp

Then come Monday, they are near perfect according to EC...
