All I want is some more rain. Though I have to say the humidity has dropped way back today and it is lovely. No sweat on me yet.

Had 385mm for March here at Utchee Creek via Mena Creek via Innisfail.
Had a huge thunderstorm all around on Thursday and was mowing cos the real estate man was coming out and then saw my partner gesticulating madly to get under cover and I was pleased as I had just seen a lightning strike hit over the hill and the thunder crack was immense over the mower sound - our neighbours telephone thing was blown up.
And yeah I know it is very foolish to be out of doors when it gets like that - ignorance would be a blissful state. Didn't get any rain out of it though, just a heart attack.
And what's this you say scott12 about a system possibly lurking?

Thanks for showing us your pics, Scott. Always worth the effort for the other forum members.

If I lounged in the local stream I'd have to be careful of leeches.

A blessing to be back to normal weather, we really suffered in the blazing heat. I hadn't the energy for chores, was horrified to hear partner welding up/fabricating a new footing for a rusted out rhs post in his shed.

7mm yesterday morning, and an amazing 58mm this morning from overnight.

Off to Airlie today (plane to Mackay bus to Airlie) Should be able to the bleaching from cairns to Townsville then the cyclone damage from Townsville to Mackay. Depressing really, but not as depressing as it's been for those people in Airlie. At least I get to give them money😎😎

GFS was showing a trough system hitting the coast, dumping plenty of rain in the coming week or so.

CMC & UK models are showing a TC crossing the Cape in 7 days. EC is picking up a low skimming TI and heading over to the west.

With all the crazy weather going on, decent rain would be good, nothing else.

Bloody Models wink
