you make it sound like the riverland is the only place in s.a.
whare it rains properly "big time".
maybe we could start another thread and have a "light hearted"
disussion on this subject. poke

Hehe. Out of curiosity have you ever lived in a coastal region of SA galaxyman?

29.5mm system total at home, very welcome! The dust has been well and truly settled with this one. Dense fog around last night but given the lingering warmth there was incredible invertebrate and frog life everywhere.

That 59mm at Roseworthy to 9am is rather incredible, an extremely local fall. Some areas missed out but overall a bloody good and widespread system to start off the season.

yer i think those dust particles are going to be laughing at
us out of their sphincters for the rest of the season from
now on.
nothing overnight, remains at 19.4mm
noarlunga aws had 15.4mm
cropping mate of mine halfway between bute and pt broughton had
38mm while bute itself had 14mm
only other thing of note was a lame duck storm fired up between
murray bridge and mannum between 2:30 and 3:30 am this morning.
be streaching a long bow to say that justifies an stw though.

Thor and Mother Nature really put on a show late Wednesday night down this way with lighting displays much likened to WWE street fight between Cena and Lesnar with half a dozen impressive flashes with a lil bit of pink in the background

The encore was a very bright CG that knocked out the Kalangadoo power instantly for 10 seconds before it came on not much rain out of it apart from the consistent stuff we had all day yesterday

Looking to Monday next week right before Anzac Day Tuesday were projected to get 5-10mm

taken from fb:

Highest totals for the 7 days ending 9am this morning! Mt Eba 104mm, Commonwealth Hill 65mm, Wirrabara Forest 57mm, Caltowie 50mm, Warooka 54mm, Yorketown 72mm, Roseworthy Ag 63mm, Williamstown 53mm, Giles (WA) 87mm, Yulara (NT) 58mm. Plenty in the 30-40mm bracket, also 20-30mm. Great opener, still some areas will be looking for some more to get crops in.
