We sat out the back and watched the light show, it was pretty constant lightning. There was also plenty of crawlers, but as quick as it go here it was gone.

my actual weather station (non wife) also had on it that it was going to rain today.....

Hey Hickory, not much but it really is so much better than the kit lens I tried to go back to last night..

just need a couple more high quality lenses for landscape etc now

Kit lenses are fine to get people started, but 'L' glass is just streets ahead in every aspect.
The precise depth of field attainable is so good for getting the subject pin sharp.
I've been a big fan of this site for 9 years now and learnt quite a lot.

Every day this week Walkamin has had a great storm and thump with rain!!! The storms form and go through that exact corridor every day! Today driving home the rain was total white-out!
