One of my mango trees is in full bloom which is a lot earlier than previous years. Not sure why.

There are quite a few flowering around the place Simmo, not mine though lol. Apparently all flowering at the frosty mango too, about 2 months early.

This weather seems set to continue for...forever. I'll take the 33c thanks Weary smile

3.8mm in the gauge this morning. Might be lucky enough to scrape in the monthly average if we get some angels pee next week!

Yeah that's about how early this one is flowering too. My other mango, different variety, is not flowering. Will have to ask a mango farmer when I next bump into one.

Bit more drizzle today giving me 1.2mm.

20 mm for the last 2 days..

Spent an hour down at the beach this morning umming and ahhing about whether to launch the boat...there was a dirty big black and grey rainy and squally area behind Dunk island where we wanted to go..

The local charter guy in his 26 ft boat called it off so we decided to try again tomorrow as well...a few whales about yesterday I'm told .

A common next to work started flowering in April and we picked up sm ed good mud crabs last week despite the R months rule down here. The days are sensational. Dead calm and sunny. No real winter yet.

0.4mm from some drizzle between 11 and 12:00 last night.
12.6mm in total this month over 9 days but what surprises me is how much difference a small amount of rain can make during winter. Things are definitely greener, slightly, than what they were 2 weeks ago. By the time you get to September/October 50mm barely makes a difference.
The bonus of a weak sun and cool days. grin
