Yeah down this way it has been cooler than average particularly at night over the past week or so. BoM's maps show both daytime and night time have been cooler than normal over much of eastern Queensland.

A real tradies nightmare this week HF lol, especially leading up to xmas
I dont recall a November this green in recent times, normally when we take the kids around looking at xmas lights it is fine with often crunchy grass.

I don't either, in the 7.5 years I've lived out here. November 2010 was probably green, we had several showers from August and one fantastic storm on 19 November, so it must've been green at least since that date. grin

We just had a nice short shower producing barely 0.5mm, but at least settling the dust.

Completely overcast with some nice dark clouds to the south east. Hope they don't miss us.

Definitely different alright, nothing at all like the previous 3 years

Agreed. I don't care what the historic temps are compared to averages... our DP and humidity have been lower and this November has been pleasant - I've never said or thought that. Usually by now I am getting a bit grumpy to it all.

Lets hope that December follows the trend with the extra winds from the Sth.

33mm this morning was a nice way to wake up. Although...... I will need to muck out 48 post holes for the retaining wall. I can handle that. Sitting on the deck with a nice cup of coffee watching the rain come down is a great way to start the day.

Bam, just like that the humidity rolls in. It is bloody steamy today. Currently 29c, 75% humidity, DP 24c.
Looks like down south will be stealing all our rain. Some massive falls forecast for Victoria.

A very pleasant morning.
Cicadas singing away, not earsplitting thankfully, yet.

Grass is green, birds chirping.

31 degrees on the deck and 48% humidity
28 degrees inside and 53% humidity
Occasional light breeze

Wowza, it is really hot and humid now. I was outside melting while doing some work in the garden so thought I would check the WS. Currently 34c with a DP of 25c. I now know why. I feel like I am back in the Valley.

EDIT: Surely we have got to get a storm. lol

Geez ya lucky thing Scott. Only 29 degrees.
35 degrees here and humidity 37%.

Hottest part of the day, when the house temp catches up the outside temp and stays there while outside gets cooler. Great in winter, but not summer.

A few nice cells around the Tableland, none out here. Although a nice big cloud sat over us for a couple minutes, and let us think it might actually do something :-/

That is an amazing cell missing Mareeba frown
The radar looked so good and it just vanished and appeared to the west. I think the Dome has been improved with a new teleport feature.

Mmmm, lovely bit of rain. Bit of thunder too. Might get 4 or 5mm out of this.

Good old Sky Muster dropped out immediately but back on now. Our trusty newly upgraded 4G stepped in with no trouble.

20 minutes or so later....11mm in the gauge.
Bit of decent lightning and thunder around too.
