It has been quite breezy/gusty here all day with enough showers to keep the washing wet.

I wonder how Coldfront is going. His area is still without power. Daughter darling was taking all her meat from the freezer and running it into town to another mates freezer since she hasn't got a working genny. I have a spare at home but she thinks it quicker to move food than drive the hour and half to pick it up.

All good at home but what a mess just out of here. We are glad the worst avoided us. Here is a snap off my phone of the approaching storm that did all the damage around Bundy.

Daughter has spent the day helping to remove sheds off her work farm. Theirs. Neighbours. Tin everywhere.

She had yesterday off after being pretty shaken by her accident. The panel beaters must be loving it. She has her car booked for early next month for repairs. She was there at 8am and whilst she was there another 3 cars came for quotes. It would have been a constant parade all day.

I am over this darn wind. Pup keeps barking, which she rarely does, because there are sudden noises around the place. Those sudden noises are just branches falling but she is doing her guard dog bit by alerting me to an unusual noise.

It rained yesterday/last night. Of course when it started hubby was up on the tinned roof shed, power cord, gurney in hand cleaning the gutters.

Ended up with a lovely 22ml. My place is greener than ever with grass actually growing instead of just being 'green'.

Drizzly rain this morning. Of course I have a clothes line full of now wettish washing that was dry when I came home yesterday but was too stuffed to bother to bring in. I also left all my clients work clothes I washed for him on his line. They weren't dry though. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it but enjoy the thought of the garden picking up a bit of moisture.
