Just about 20mm here. Even though the winds are SE, the rain looked to be moving sort of more straight east but headed more towards the central part of Yeppoon.

Better than nothing smile

This area south of Yeppoon between the Causeway to about Kinka to about Rossyln Bay seems to be dryer and even at times less windy if the wind is NE . Though some air movement in summer is better than none.

Suns peeking through the clouds here intermittently now... making it rather disgusting out there

Cloudy cool-humid in Yeppoon.

21st of March Autumn Equinox , should be cooler by then here's hoping .

Haven't had a flooding/massive rain event in Rocky/ Yeppoon since Marcia ? that I can think of.

Perhaps if we did, even if it was monsoonal, we might have a winter this year that actually was cool. We seem to have warmer winters when we have dryer summers.

GFS has that area of low pressure and associated heavy rain moving out of the gulf country (120hrs) to eventually impact Central Highlands & Central West.
