Yeah Simmo...I guess that means they are feeling more certain that this low will sit near our coast for a few days.......if it does we could well see numbers far exceeding those forecasts....with fully saturated ground and river flows still high it may get very interesting next week.....and then we may possibly get a bit of a blow with it...wouldn't that be fun..!

No additions to mine.
234mm for March, unless we get a downpour before midnight... ha ha.

The ants are building multiple nests, most in the shape of mini-volcanoes. Haven't seen this much activity since end 2015 I think it was. Hopefully it means rain, the mock orange got it wrong last time they bloomed. grin

You just have to love the GFS model...last run had Tully in the bullseye with 1299mm to the latest run having Tully in the 25mm band...

Hahah Scott, yeah I do not look at the 6z or 18z runs. Though this one is more in line with EC.

GFS was leading the pack at the beginning of the year in re to rainfall forecasts for our area. For about 5 weeks they out performed the other models mostly. Once the lows showed up GFS started performing poorly. They are generally not good with forecasting lows pass the 3 day point
