Hahaha YS.

Things are gonna get hot, hot, hot. Would not be surprised to see 39-40c next week. Just when I was worried November was going to be cooler than October.

Yes Simmo. It was 38 yesterday. Not sure what it was today, not hot enough to bother looking. Probably somewhere arount 36.
A few clouds earlier on, not exciting type, but back to nothing in the sky again.

Let's say 41.7 degrees, eh?
It's getting hotter, but don't think it will get quite that hot. Maybe out a bit further. We shall see...

I'm not sure it will get that hot here on the coast. Up your way and to the west maybe.
Some rain would be better. Green up my grass weeds.

Maybe not right on the coast hickory but meteye has the southern cairns suburbs getting to 39c on monday. 40c for Gordonvale. 37c for the northern beaches but 39 for smithfield. Pretty horrible DP too ~24c.

Edit: At this stage things are looking like they could be a little hotter on Tuesday.

Hey Simmo, I scored 0.4mm last night!

Meteye even has G'vale 40c on Monday. I have never seen 40, quite few 39's, but not 40. This month could end up quite a ways above average.

That drizzle is about 1km from me. I can see it obscuring the trees.

Crazy isn't it RF. Is it your driest period there?
I only recorded 5 40c+ days when I lived in Cairns. 4 where at the end of January 2013 and 1 other at the end of January 2015.

A quick look says it's easily the driest for that period Simmo, when I get time I'll see by how much
