Missing all the fun. Well, maybe not fun for some.
But really, feel disconnected out here.
No rain today, comfortable 30 degrees, overcast and a lovely fresh breeze blowing most of the day.

And when our temperature range is 25-30 degrees, it's hard to conceive the poor people down south have apparently been suffering 40+.

Yeah it fell on the electric fence so it will need some attention. The paddock is not in use at the moment and will not be used for another 4/5 weeks so I have some time. It is only a braid fence too so easy to fix.

Good morning folks.
A very pretty pink/purple sky out too the East early. Some very wild and squally showers over night flooded the kitchen floor by pushing water under the door and blew a bit of stuff down in the yard.

What a great ending to the year, that saw so many dry, hot and now wet records broken.
97mm here this morning closes 2018 on 5191mm.

Bring on TC Penny and 2019

May you all have a happy & safe New Year.

Cheers

4mm overnight takes me to 416.2mm for December. My 2nd wettest month here.
Overnight mins for December were the highest for any month with 22.1c.

An interesting fact from my records is in 2016 there were 102 rain days giving 491.4mm.
2018 had 100 rain days, lowest of any year, for 1469.4mm. Nearly 1000mm more rain with less rain days crazy

Can not wait to see what unfolds with TC Penny once she forms.

I hope everyone has a happy and safe new year grin

Ended up with 859mm for December, easily the wettest on record.

3393mm for 2018.
Wettest month was March with 1230mm, which was also the rainiest with 23 rain days.
Driest month was August with 0mm - the first time that any month at Bilyana has recorded 0mm.

So long 2018!

Good stiff breeze, almost constant, with occasional very very strong gusts. No sign of rain whatsoever. Too much blue in the sky.

Loving the EC and GFS Yo-Yo that's going on at the moment. One run EC is forecast loads of rain for our area and GFS bugger all. Next run vice versa.

Current 3 day forecast for my location is EC 15.6mm, GFS 96.4mm. Lets see what this afternoons runs say.

We ended December with 45mm more than the official reading of 1051.8mm - a record December.

The yearly total was 2,718mm, the highest since the year of Yasi, 2011, and 807mm more than last year. It was 635mm above average for the year.

Drove back from Townsville this morning, everything looked lush and green. What a great month it was.

Happy New Year all.

Happy New Year everyone smile

I've lost track of how much rain we've had for the last week, it's been nice but I'm getting bored of weather warnings that don't amount to much!! I want some proper action (and no, 1000mm of rain in a week is not action to me lol)
